Guys, the best month is here!
It’s National Nutrition Month!!
It is the one month of a year that registered dietitians reign supreme. We celebrate, we educate, and we advocate for good nutrition.
This year’s theme has me really excited… it’s Put Your Best Fork Forward.
It’s all about making a lifestyle around healthy eating and healthy habits.
But what makes me excited is the underlying key messages – learn how to cook and make time to eat together.
I firmly believe that knowing how to cook is the key to healthy eating. And I don’t mean cooking huge elaborate meals with huge ingredient lists. This National Nutrition Month is all about learning simple recipes that are good, good for you, and are meant to be shared with those you love while sitting around the table.
During this month, I want to help you put YOUR best fork forward. So what do you want to learn? What healthy recipes do you want to see? I’ll supply the recipes, the techniques, and the shopping list. All you need is a table and people to share it with.
Happy National Nutrition Month, everyone!

I would love lunch ideas. I currently work from home, so a hot meal is not out of the question, but lunch always seems to be difficult for me. (I don’t like fish or seafood of any kind, or pork, (other than the occasional breakfast or Italian sausage), so I really limit my choices. Would love some fresh ideas.
Lunch is a struggle in my house too! Definitely will share some good ideas
