This recipe is super special.
This is the recipe for Pomegranate Martinis… the signature drink for my mama’s group of friends (W&D).
These ladies have been friends for almost 20 YEARS. They all met at a school event (they all have a kiddo that’s around my age), went out to dinner after, and the rest is history. They have been meeting for dinner once a month since and they have been through everything together – good, bad, ugly, happy, sad. They are truly #squadgoals.
They also happen to be my core readership/most honest recipe reviewers.
They. Are. Awesome.
My mama made these pomegranate martinis for a dinner once and they all fell in love with them. So whenever they are celebrating something big, they make these bad boys.
And they are the easiest thing to make!
*warning: these pack a serious punch, so enjoy responsibility*
In a large pitcher, add in some lime juice.
Fresh lime juice please! Since this whole recipe has four ingredients, you really need to use good stuff. And nothing is better than freshly squeezed lime juice.
And then add in some good vodka.
And some Grand Marier (orange liqueur).
Finally, add in the pomegranate juice!! Just like the lime juice, make sure it is good pomegranate juice (100% juice is the best!!).
Stir everything to combine.
To serve, you can either shake over ice and strain OR pour it over crushed ice. We went the crushed ice route!
Garnish with a lime slice and enjoy!
They are definitely celebration worthy.
So, what’s your signature dish that you always have with your friends?

These are the best…as are YOU for sharing all of your wonderful recipes and tips! Just realize that without you (and your grade school peers) there would be no W& D!!! Such a loss for all of us (and the world lol)
Catherine that was beautiful! First I laughed out loud when I saw “pomegranate martinis” in the subject but then read the rest. I agree with Kathy. But for you kids we would not be together for 20 years. Thanks for taking so many beautiful photos to keep the memories.
